Winter-to-Spring Class Rollover
Students enrolled in this winter class may be eligible to roll over into the spring term, provided no classes were rolled over in the fall. Rollover is available until February 6, 2026.
In this class, we’ll be working on portraits from both prints of the masters and live models. Rather than teaching formulas, I will be teaching students to trust their own eyes, painting or drawing what they see as opposed to what they think they see. I will be shifting from one student to another, giving attention to each individual’s needs. Students are free to work in whatever medium they choose.
Mondays, March 23 – May 11, 2026 (eight weeks)
12:30 – 3:30 PM
Materials Provided: Students will supply their own materials.
Materials Fee (payable to the instructor): $70 per trimester to pay for a live portrait model, depending on class size
Students must bring from home or purchase these materials for the class: Students will be bringing their own supplies in the medium they prefer as drawing supplies which can include pencil, charcoal, pastels, paper, paints, oils, acrylics or watercolor, with a canvas or canvas paper or suitable surface to work on; and brushes and medium to paint with. If a student is a beginner, the instructor suggests working with drawing supplies to start.
