Come learn to finish a round needlepoint ornament! Bring your own stitched and blocked round needlepoint, 2 skeins of #5 Perle Cotton to make cording, and 2 pieces of material that complement the ornament for backing. You will learn how to make your own cording and the class kit has all the materials provided for finishing the ornament. During class, students will learn to cut and bevel foam core, cut and dart needlepoint and fabric, and assemble all the elements of their ornament. Other skills covered: Learn to use a curved needle, how to center and align a monogram on the back of an ornament, add cording and complete a finished ornament.
