Come learn to finish a round needlepoint ornament! Bring your own stitched and blocked round needlepoint, 2 skeins of #5 Perle Cotton to make cording, and two pieces of material that complement the ornament for backing. You will learn how to make your own cording. The class kit has all the materials provided for finishing the ornament. During class, students will learn to cut and bevel foam core, cut and dart needlepoint and fabric, and assemble all the elements of their ornament. Other skills covered include how to use a curved needle; how to center and align a monogram on the back of an ornament; and how to add cording and complete a finished ornament.
