Things tear, rip, snag and wear out. Mending can be a meditation, an art, a function, and even a joy…always more fun in community with others. Join with other members for a four-week session to mend moth-eaten sweaters and blankets; learn how to reinforce weak spots with Swiss mending and Sashiko; quickly felt-mend scarves, hats, and other woolen items; and learn how to darn socks and fix fabric tears.
Bring your beloved items, tattered and torn. Bring your expert knowledge or your beginner’s mind. Anna Shapiro will be your guide.
