Ding Bu Chuan is a standing exercise based on the same sequence of movements as Snake Style tai chi, but requires only an arm’s length of space to perform. It is a qigong system developed by Grandmaster Ip Tai Tak and emphasizes 180-degree spinal twists. This qigong will stretch the muscles of the thorax as well as massaging internal organs and blood vessels.
In this workshop, students will be introduced to the basic movements of this form through demonstrations and instruction. Snake Style tai chi strengthens the core body and is great for balance and overall fitness.
