This course is designed for students who have completed the introductory Nantucket basket class or have prior experience with basic basket weaving techniques. In this class, participants will work on a more challenging project that focuses on tapering staves, spacing them uniformly, and refining construction skills.
Each participant will select from a variety of molds available at the Handicraft Club, with guidance of the instructor. If students have molds and materials they would like to use, they may discuss that with the instructor.
