This workshop will introduce the methods used to create printed hand-pulled holiday cards and gift tags. We will use gel plates, acrylic paint, stencils, and found objects for printing to create unique cards and gift tags.
Gel monoprint is a painterly medium! The effects achieved with gel monoprints are not usually possible in other forms of art. The artist can use a unique combination of printing and painting on various papers to create one-of-a-kind artworks, gift tags, and cards. This workshop is for all levels of artists.

Materials fee (payable to the instructor): $10
Materials provided: Gel plates, stencils, various colors of paint, cards, gift tags, baby wipes, cleaning supplies, objects to make print patterns
Students must bring from home or purchase these materials for the class: Blick or Jerry’s acrylic paints in primary and secondary colors
