This beginner’s hand embroidery workshop will be an introduction to the rich techniques and histories of hand embroidery. Together, we will go over several stitches that can be used for clothing, art, and decoration. The workshop will explore ways that several foundational embroidery stitches can be used and re-imagined to enhance the colors, textures, and surfaces of your projects. Each class we will learn and practice several new stitch styles and techniques that build upon previous lessons, and participants will leave the class with knowledge of twenty-five embroidery stitches, and endless ways to expand upon them!
