The Handicraft Club has a variety of donation opportunities.
The Julia Lippitt Mauran Society, named in honor of the founder of the Handicraft Club, recognizes those who have remembered the Handicraft Club in their estate plans. Your legacy helps ensure the future of this unique crafts organization.
The Truman Beckwith Circle is named after Truman Beckwith, who built our beautiful clubhouse in 1825. Some members have expressed interest in contributing now. For a minimum gift of $1,500.00, you can join this Circle. These tax-deductible contributions will be added to the endowment, unless otherwise specified.
This fund may be used for various purposes, including special speakers, upgrading classroom space, materials, and new equipment. It can be used to help maintain reasonable class fees, to seed funding for a new class, or for faculty enrichment.
The funds received for this account are used to upgrade the Tynietoy Mansion and to purchase new furniture, miniatures, and accessories.
Although we have a well-managed Investment Fund, our Club has many expenses, particularly maintaining our clubhouse. Contributions to the Investment Fund will allow us to keep up with the maintenance costs.
