This workshop introduces the methods used to create hand-pulled prints and focuses on botanicals. We will use gel plates, acrylic paint and plants for printing to create unique artworks that can be used as a standalone work or a series of cards.
Gel monoprint is a painterly medium! The effects achieved with gel monoprints are not usually possible in other forms of art. The artist can use a unique combination of printing and painting on various papers which can create one-of-a-kind artworks, gift tags and cards. This workshop is for all levels of artists.

Materials provided: Gel plates, various stencils, basic colors of acrylic paint, papers, baby wipes, cleaning supplies, and botanicals
Materials fee (payable to the instructor): $10
Students must bring from home or purchase these materials for the class: Acrylic paints
