Early American Decorative Painting

Many different Early American decorative painting techniques are taught in this class including gold leaf, bronze powder stenciling, country tin painting, reverse glass painting, theorem painting, scherenschnitte, illuminated lettering, raised lettering, and pen work. Both oil and acrylics are used in different techniques.

Tuesdays, 10 Weeks, 09/26 – 12/05, 2023

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM

Materials students need to bring: Items to decorate can include various household items including wastebaskets, canisters, trays, boxes, frames, and small furniture made of wood or tin.

Materials fee: $15 (paid to the instructor)

This class will be filled by lottery.
