Looking for the perfect yarn bowl? One that’s indestructible, lightweight, snag free and pretty? One that your ball of yarn will never fly out of? Let’s make one. In this class we’ll make a yarn bowl using the coiled basket-making technique. We’ll use colorful cotton yarns to wrap around a paper rope, and build and shape our coils to form the bowl. We’ll learn how to create colorful designs and how to add a lid with a yarn pull opening and a beaded latch to keep the top closed and your yarn snug. It’s relaxing and you don’t need any experience.
