Beginner Mah Jongg

Mah Jongg is a challenging tile game that originated in China. The American version (taught at the Handicraft Club) was brought to the United States in the 1920’s. This is a great way to meet new friends, learn a little history, and become familiar with the tiles, rules, and protocol of playing the game.

Tuesdays, 10 Weeks, 09/19 – 11/28, 2023 (No class 11/14)

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Materials students need to purchase:  Scorecards from the National Mah Jongg League. Wait to purchase until instructor tells you how and where to get the scorecard.

Materials fee:  $15 (paid to the instructor)
