Nantucket Baskets
with Marcy Wemple (F26)

Nantucket Baskets is sold out.

As we celebrate the 250th year of the United States, we can connect with a local handicraft deeply rooted in local culture. From the Wampanoag People to the men working on Nantucket Light Ships, generations of basket weavers embraced the beauty of these iconic baskets.  Each student creates their own individualized Nantucket Basket while learning new skills and building friendships. From planning to finishing, students are carefully guided through the process of designing and creating an heirloom that will last into the next centennial celebration.

Please connect with Marcy asap before the classes start to ensure you have all the materials you need. Her information is in the membership book.
